Ubiwan is concerned about the rights of individuals, particularly with regard to the collection and processing of personal data, and in a desire to be transparent with its customers, has set up a policy covering all such processing, the purposes for which it is carried out, and the means of action available to individuals so that they can best exercise their rights.

Ubiwan’s personal data collection and processing policy is in compliance with the GPDR (General Data Protection Regulation) of May 25, 2018.

Definition of Personal Data

This is a very broad term that refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. To request a quote, audit or information: name, first name, sector of activity, company, fleet size, e-mail address, number of vehicles or machines to be equipped, telephone.

To request brochures: first and last name, e-mail address, company, telephone.

For job applications or spontaneous applications: first and last name, e-mail address, telephone number, CV.

In all cases, you can refuse to provide your personal data. However, you will not be able to use the services of the site.

Collection of personal datas

Your personal data are collected through forms. The optional or compulsory character (indicated by ” * “) of the answers is indicated in the forms.

If you do not wish to provide one or more mandatory information, you are informed that you will not be able to access certain services or features of the site.

The personal data provided when requesting commercial brochures or requesting quotes, audits or information are collected for commercial purposes and will be used for this purpose.

We collect your data in a fair and transparent manner by providing information on the forms or by referring to this Policy.

Duration of data retention

Specific case of data collected during the application for a recruitment: The information provided during the application for a position or spontaneous (recruitment page) will not be kept if the candidate is not called for an interview. In this case, the candidate will be notified by email that his/her personal data will not be kept.

If the candidate is invited for an interview and is not selected, Ubiwan reserves the right to keep the candidate’s personal information for a future job offer. In this case, the candidate will be notified by email that his/her personal data will be kept for this purpose and he/she will be able to object to this data retention.

In all cases, the retention of personal data will not exceed a maximum period of 3 years after the end of any commercial relationship.

Your obligations

When you consult and use the site that we make available to you, you are required to respect the provisions of the law “Informatique et Libertés”.

As such, you must refrain from any collection, processing, or misuse of personal data that you may have access to when using the services we provide.

You are informed that failure to comply with the law “Informatique et Libertés” exposes you to civil and criminal penalties.

We inform you that access to your personal data is strictly limited to persons authorized by their functions and who are bound by an obligation of confidentiality.
